  4. Verve is freeware for  any use, no restrictions  apply. Be sure however  to read
  5. License.txt for the license agreement.

  7. *REQUIREMENTS*
  8. Verve has been tested on Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP so all that is  required
  9. is one of those operating systems.Verve also requires the Visual Basic SP5 Runtime
  10. files which are available directly from Microsoft here:

  14. *DESCRIPTION*
  15. Verve  allows  you  to  style your  Windows  Desktop  unlike  any other  program
  16. available. It  is a  complete wallpaper  and desktop  manager with  features not
  17. found in every other wallpaper and  desktop manager you've ever used, it's  in a
  18. class  of  it's own.  It  features a  simple  list to  which  you add  all  your
  19. wallpapers, use  any  JPEG or BMP  files,  don't  worry  about  converting
  20. them to Bitmaps, Verve does it for you. You can set the wallpaper's style  (i.e.
  21. Stretch, Centre, Tile), hide the Desktop icons, make the Desktop icon background
  22. transparent, change the  Desktop icon text  colour and it  sets and saves  these
  23. settings on  a per  wallpaper basis!  The features  don't end  there so have fun
  24. exploring Verve and your Desktop.

  27. *INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION*
  28. To install Verve  run the file  Verveinstall.exe contained in  the zip file.  To
  29. uninstall Verve go to the Windows Control Panel and use the Add/Remove applet.
